Sanctum Sanctorum is Latin for Sacred Room. It only exists in dream and myth. It's outer representations would be the central room in a temple, shrine, or church. Other examples would be the special cave that has ancient animal paintings at Lascaux,France, or what a surfer sees as he goes through the inside of a tube wave.... sometimes called the "Green Room." It is the "axis mundi" - the central pillar of the world. The most sacred place.... You see what happen when you drink too much saki?
I see...actually my dictionary says it is a sacred room in a Jewish temple! but seems not just for Jews. I like it when you explain something exists in dream and myth kinds thing, because it's so romantic and interesting!
Oh, I've happened to be there so often when I drink sake too much. Now I know what a great place it is!!
